Fiberreed Carbon G-SAX tenor saxophone

The Fiberreed G-SAX is part of our Fiberreed Artist series. We developed this signaturereed in collaboration with our long-standing endorser, the Swiss Roland Graf (G-SAX).

The material consists of alternating layers of white hollow fibers with high-modulus carbon fibers. The fibers are predominantly unidirectional in the longitudinal direction of the reed and therefore have the same structure as natural cane. The cellular structure of Arundo Donax is achieved using a foaming epoxy resin. The structure of the resulting bubbles is decisive for the sound properties of the HFC material.
