Mit einem Master of Music in Komposition und Theorie von der New York University und einem Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies von der Western Connecticut State University verfügt Nick über ein breites musikalisches Wissen, das er sowohl in der Klassik als auch im Jazz und in Genres wie Rock, Pop, Klezmer, Hip-Hop, Funk, Country und Folk einsetzt.
