Fiberreed RPL baritone saxophone

The RPL model is the first reed in our Fiberreed Artist series and was developed in collaboration with the Portuguese music professor Rodrigo Pires de Lima with a view to classical music. The reed was optimized according to Rodrigo's specifications in detailed adjustments and refined through extensive test runs. Rodrigo's signature material is carbon and he prefers the traditional curved cut for the heart. It gives this reed good resistance, a pure tone and precise response.

The Artist series is something very special for us here at Fiberreed. More than 30 years of experience, passion and innovation have gone into this Artist series. The RPL has been made with a lot of "love and care"! Originally developed for classical musicians, the RPL works wonderfully in combination with classical mouthpieces. But it is also a real treat for all jazz musicians. The RPL is available for tenor, alto, soprano and baritone.
